Mental Health care with medication management exclusively serving individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilites
We offer medication management for mental health conditions in individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities in collaboration with their family, residential staff, and primary care providers.
At PNS, we understand that finding the right care provider can be a daunting task. That's why we work closely with each patient's team to develop a personalized care plan that meets their unique needs.
Our team is experienced in providing a range of mental health services. We understand individuals in the IDD Community have a unique set of needs. Our team is dedicated to providing compassionate and professional care to our clients.
We understand mental health begins to affect the life of many individuals at a very early age when combined with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We see patients from the age of 5 and up.
Due to the unique needs of preschool aged children, we recommend they see a child psychiatrist.
PNS office is located in Greenfield (Hancock County), Indiana. Due to our unique set up, to accommodate the IDD community, we are able to see patients within a 1-hour drive for at home visits, and anywhere in the state of Indiana for telehealth visits (an in-person visit at least once annually is required for this option).
At PNS we believe an in-person visit is always the best option, but sometimes due to the unique needs of our patients, we offer alternative options. For our established patients, we offer telehealth services and for patients with exceptional situations, we offer at home visits.
Patients are able to schedule in person visits in the office with their caregivers and/or family members. The office is Handicap accessible and open 4days a week.
Telehealth visits are available for established patients when traveling to the office for an in person visit would cause unnecessary challenges.
Home Visits are available for special situations. They require the referral from another healthcare professional
